Loving Lately - June

I have decided to share with you my dear reader(s) some products that I love.* Many bloggers do this and make it into a regular feature. Me? Not so much. These posts will happen whenever I feel inspired. You might see another one in a week, or it might be six months. This is your warning: sporadic is the name of the game.

So without further ado, here's the first installment of Loving Lately

#1
Yoga Studio - $4 in the app store

This is, by far, one of my favorite paid apps of all time. I like doing yoga, and am trying to add more healthy practices to my life. However, like most parents of young kids, I can't afford the time or the money for a gym membership. Yoga Studio lets me do yoga, in the comfort of my own home, whenever I damn well please. 9:00 at night after everyone has gone to bed? You betcha. 6:30 in the morning? Not likely, but a girl can dream. The app has 30 ready-made classes that offer a range of options: multiple levels of difficulty, different areas of focus, class duration. Once you master those, you can even build your own class.

Covergirl Perfect Point Plus Eyeliner - $4.79 at Target**

When it comes to makeup, I am a drugstore girl through and through. I can be talked into a lot of things, but you will never convince me to pay $30 for foundation. Nope, nope, nope. Even though I buy cheap makeup, I still don't want to sharpen my eyeliner like a peasant. This eyeliner is cheap, it sharpens itself, and it has a built-in smudger (if smudging is your thing).

#3
LOFT Skinny Jeans - $69.50 at LOFT

Three years ago I was all excited about Old Navy's Sweetheart Skinny, which I called the new 'Mom Jean.' No offense to Old Navy, but after a second kid my muffin top is a bit more fluffy than it once was, and the Sweetheart Skinny wasn't cutting it anymore. LOFT jeans have a slightly higher rise and the denim feels thicker, which helps skim over the lumps and bumps. Oh god, I feel old just writing this. Let's move on.

#4
Secret Clinical Strength Invisible Solid - $7.99 at Target**

Mentioning deodorant on a must-have list? I'm as shocked as you, but here we are. I had been using hippy deodorant for a few years, but I finally had to admit it just doesn't work. On a completely unrelated note, I would like to apologize to everyone I know. When shopping for a new brand I stood in the deodorant aisle, feeling completely overwhelmed by all the choices, when my best friend Google found many tests - you know, the kind where magazines and blogs have a bunch of readers test lots of things, then they tell the magazine which one's best - and they all had Secret Clinical Strength in the top 3. I put it in my cart and haven't looked back.

#5
La Croix Sparkling Water - $15-20 for 24 cans on Amazon

I have been trying to kick the soda habit and I don't miss the sugar and caffeine, but I need the carbonation. La Croix is perfect. Sparkling water, with lots of different fruit flavors. You should try it.

#6
Garnier Fructis De-Constructed Beach Chic Texturizing Spray - $3.50 at Target**

Whenever I have short hair, I start reaching for hair product. This beach spray is great for quickly adding some texture to my hair without a lot of effort or fuss. And for less than four bucks, that is, as I say, so cheap it just threw itself in my cart.

*As usual, none of this content is sponsored and I don't use affiliate links. I genuinely use and love all of these things and want to share them with you. If I ever get sponsors, you'll be the first to know.
** These items are also available at drugstores, grocery stores, and other big box stores. I just linked to Target because I shop there a lot.
